Supply Chain and Logistics Management Minor

The Supply Chain and Logistics Management Minor allows students to expand their field of study and contribute to the challenges of sustainability, automation, supply chain analytics and the realignment of the global supply chain. The Minor will offer potential opportunities for students who wish to leverage their existing major and distinguish themselves for employment within many business settings. The Minor allows students to focus on Purchasing and Logistics or Supply Chain Analytics if they choose to do so.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet the following learning outcomes:
- Describe the concepts of Operations Management (OM).
- Model simple business processes in terms of: actors and activity sequences involved, the data flowing through those sequences, and the dependencies between data and business activities.
- Apply key tools and strategies used by operations management professionals and know how these tools and strategies impact other functions in an organization.
- Select and execute the most appropriate operations management solution for a given business situation.
