Advanced Biochemistry Option
This option is available within the Chemistry major at the following location:

Advanced Biochemistry is a Track-One option in the BS chemistry degree approved by the American Chemical Society. It is designed for students continuing their chemistry education in graduate or professional schools or seeking careers directly in the chemistry workforce. Knowledge and skills are developed in organic, analytical, physical, inorganic chemistry, and biochemistry. Six advanced laboratory courses are required, and students have a choice of electives that support their career goals with an opportunity to explore minors in other areas. Undergraduate research is strongly encouraged.
