French Minor
This program is available at the following locations:
- Corvallis
- Ecampus
French is the official language in 29 countries around the world and an official language of the United Nations, NATO, the European Union, and the International Red Cross. It is a growing language with a steady increase in the number of French speakers, especially across the African continent, making French a key language for students interested in international affairs, political science, economics, global business, agriculture and humanitarian work.
In a globalized world, where the values of equity, diversity and social justice are of the utmost importance, a French minor at OSU will help you enhance your understanding of French and francophone cultures and values, and strengthen your ability to communicate in French. It will enrich and complement any major or field of study, enabling you to work in diverse professional and cultural contexts.
Minor Code: 925
