Ethnic Studies Graduate Minor

Graduate work in Ethnic Studies may serve as a field of study for the Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree or as a minor in other advanced degree programs. The program offers an interdisciplinary exploration of the critical areas of race, Indigeneity, class, ethnicity, and gender in American life.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Evaluate past and present theories of race, ethnicity, and Indigeneity, particularly through an intersectional lens.
- Develop a theoretical and methodological framework for analyzing race, ethnicity, and Indigeneity through an intersectional lens and apply it to their specific area of graduate research.
