The MBA program in Wine Business Management combines advanced business management principles with knowledge of wine production, offering a comprehensive education for those aspiring to lead in the wine industry. Students explore topics such as vineyard management, winemaking processes and appreciation, global wine markets, and marketing strategies. The curriculum is designed to equip graduates with the skills needed to manage wineries, develop wine brands, and navigate the complexities of the global wine industry. Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet the following learning outcomes:
- Design new vineyard acreage for a commercial winery through the vineyard portfolio.
- Communicate essential elements of wine appreciation including proper pairings, service, and flavor and aroma variations due to styles, geographies, and terroir.
- Evaluate wine aging and finishing operations related to grape varieties and barrels/tanks.
