Cybersecurity Option
This option is available within the Computer Science major at the following locations:
- Corvallis
- Ecampus
The Cybersecurity option in Computer Science allows students to gain foundational knowledge and skills in computer science with an in-depth focus on cybersecurity, allowing them to apply those concepts toward securing cyberspace. Students in the program will have the opportunity to further their skills through relevant courses and experiential learning, preparing them for a career in a variety of professions in cybersecurity and related disciplines.

Cybersecurity Electives are any cybersecurity-related 300 or 400-level course offered through the College of Engineering. Courses must be taken for an A-F letter grade and cannot be used towards other requirements in the major. Courses from outside of the College of Engineering may be used with advisor approval

A total of six combined credits of 401 and/or 406 credits can be applied towards Cybersecurity Electives. 402, 403, 404, 405, 407, 408, 409, 410 credits cannot be used as Cybersecurity Electives
