Mathematics Graduate Option
This option is available within the Teaching major at the following location:
- OSU-Cascades
The Mathematics graduate option is for students wanting to earn both a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree in mathematics and qualify for an Oregon teaching license in advanced mathematics or foundational mathematics. Students must have a bachelor’s degree and meet coursework and credit requirements to qualify for the endorsement.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet the following learning outcomes:
- Conduct research or produce some other form of creative work.
- Demonstrate mastery of subject material.
- Conduct scholarly or professional activities in an ethical manner.
