Biomedical Sciences Graduate Option
This option is available within the Comparative Health Sciences major at the following location:
- Corvallis
Biomedical Sciences is the default option for the major. A Masters, Non-Thesis Masters or PhD are earned by students following the Biomedical Sciences option. In addition to coursework required in the student’s program of study, MS thesis and PhD students will complete an interdisciplinary research project in comparative health sciences. This program allows students to customize their studies across many fields of science at OSU.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet the following learning outcomes:
MS
- Conduct research or produce some other form of creative work.
- Demonstrate mastery of subject material.
- Conduct scholarly or professional activities in an ethical manner.
PhD
- Produce and defend an original significant contribution to knowledge.
- Demonstrate mastery of subject material.
- Conduct scholarly activities in an ethical manner.
Biomedical Sciences is the default option for the major. Only Clinical residents can take the Clinical Sciences option.
