Admission-Based Scholarships

A limited number of merit-based scholarships for students attending the OSU-Corvallis or OSU-Cascades campus are administered by the Scholarship Office. Incoming first-year and transfer undergraduate students whose first term of enrollment will be Summer or Fall are considered based on their admissions application. All first-year students who submit the application for admission by February 1, and all transfer students who apply for admission by March 15, are eligible for consideration. Students who apply for admission after those dates are only considered on a funds-available basis. Recipients will be notified of their awards electronically, and they must maintain full-time enrollment and remain in good academic standing. Many of these scholarships are renewable for up to four years total. Additional information is available on the Scholarship Office website.

OSU ScholarDollars and University Scholarships

Current and newly-admitted OSU students may use OSU ScholarDollars to submit applications for additional university scholarships. Merit-based, need-based, and activity-based OSU scholarships are available, and OSU ScholarDollars also offers a searchable database of external scholarships. Most applications open November 1 and have a deadline on or after February 15, but specific application cycles may vary. New students must have been admitted to OSU and have an active ONID account to be able to log into the system and submit applications. Additional information is available on the OSU ScholarDollars website.

Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC) Scholarships

Oregon residents are encouraged to submit an OSAC Scholarship Application between November 1 and March 1. If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, it will automatically be extended to 5:00 p.m. (PST) of the following business day.
