Description and Requirements

 
Description: Learn the visual mode of manual language to develop production, comprehension, and conversation skills in American Sign Language (ASL). Gain understanding of Deaf culture that is shaped by practices, products, and perspectives.

Target: It is designed for anyone in their career field who experience interacting with persons who are deaf and hard of hearing in their work environment.

How: The series of courses discuss everyday social contexts in different settings as they focus on visual language in ASL and aspects of Deaf culture.
