Education Graduate Minor
A graduate minor in Education supports any graduate major and would be valuable to anyone interested in teaching theory, education policy, or education research methodologies. The minor does not result in a teaching, administration, or counseling license.
The minor course requirements are individualized to each student’s academic interests. The minor advisor and student will together agree on appropriate coursework within the College of Education for the minor. Students are strongly encouraged to identify an Education faculty member as their minor chair (and the faculty member must agree to serve) prior to taking more than 6 credits in the Education MS program or Education PhD program in the College of Education (i.e., courses within ED or SED, primarily 500-level courses for an MS Graduate Minor and 600-level courses for a PhD Graduate Minor).
