Transitions
Transitions commits to consciously and deliberately supporting students beginning their OSU educational journey. Students formulate goals and strategies for their personal, academic, and professional growth; identify ways to engage in their communities; familiarize themselves with tools and resources for student success; and understand the common values that guide OSU’s undergraduate education.
- Transitions should be taken in a student's first term at OSU.
- The 100-level course is designed for first time students entering OSU.
- The 300-level course is designed for transfer students.
- Some OSU colleges offer their own Transitions courses for students in that college's majors. Some OSU colleges have their students take Transitions through the College of Health (CORE 100/CORE 300). All Transitions courses are considered equivalent, regardless of the course code.
