Studio Art Option
This option is available within the Art major at the following locations:
- Corvallis
- OSU-Cascades
The Studio Art BA/BS option offers concentrations in painting, drawing, sculpture, installation-arts, printmaking, and expanded media.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet the following learning outcomes:
- Exhibit broad and discipline-specific knowledge of art processes and history.
- Describe and analyze works of visual art critically and relate them to historical and contemporary contexts.
- Articulate discipline-specific concepts in writing, orally, and visually.
- Create original art and/or research projects by applying discipline-specific tools, skills, methods, and sources.
The required core curriculum studio courses must be completed before taking upper-division studio courses for the major program. All students seeking a major or a minor must see a departmental advisor on a yearly basis.
