Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet the following learning outcomes:

• Analyze human culture and social institutions in historical and comparative context.
• Outline anthropology's main sub-fields (archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology) and the core tenets of the four-field approach.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate about data relevant to one or more of the subfields within the context of anthropological theory.
• Apply ethical and professional standards in anthropology.

Additional Anthropology credits to total 27 with the following restrictions:

• No more than 6 blanket credits (ANTH 401–ANTH 409)
• No more than 6 internship credits (ANTH 410)
• At least 12 400-level credits, excluding blanket credits and internship credits
