Anthropology Minor

Undergraduate students may elect the Anthropology minor to complement coursework in their major discipline.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet the following learning outcomes:
- Analyze human culture and social institutions in historical and comparative context.
- Outline anthropology's main sub-fields (archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology) and the core tenets of the four-field approach.
- Collect, analyze, and communicate about data relevant to one or more of the subfields within the context of anthropological theory.
- Apply ethical and professional standards in anthropology.
