The Graduate Certificate in Public Health is designed for public health practitioners and others seeking professional development and continuing education within the field of public health. The certificate consists of 18 graduate credits focusing on key domains in public health. The Graduate Certificate in Public Health may be completed in 1-3 years, depending on start term and electives courses chosen.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will meet the following learning outcomes:
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using biostatistics, informatics, computer-based programming, and software, as appropriate.
- Examine the means by which structural bias, social inequities, and racism undermine health and create challenges to achieving health equity at organizational, community and systemic levels.
- Examine the policy-making process, including the roles of ethics and evidence.
- Explore the importance of cultural competence in communicating public health content.
All courses require a B- minimum grade.
