The Entomology Program offers qualified candidates opportunities for graduate study and research leading to the Master of Arts, Master of Agriculture (nonthesis), Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees with concentrations in various basic and applied fields within the discipline. In keeping with traditional areas of strength at the university, a number of major research programs in entomology deal with problems in agriculture, forestry, and environmental quality. Integrated pest management techniques are emphasized in the solution of many of these problems.

There are no specific course requirements for entomology graduate degrees. Each student will work with their major professor and/or graduate committee to establish a program of study.
