Course PH 331. SOUND, HEARING, AND MUSIC (3). Is Baccalaureate Core Course

Basic course in the physics, technology, and societal implications of sound. Intended for students in nontechnical majors. Topics include wave motion, hearing and the perception of sound, noise pollution, music and musical instruments, architectural acoustics, and sound recording and reproduction. (Bacc Core Course) PREREQS: Upper-division standing and one year of university science, or instructor approval required.
