Course MUS 325. HISTORY OF WESTERN MUSIC (3). Is WIC Core Course

Traces the development of music history from the early Classic period through the end of the 19th century. Major trends in orchestral, solo, chamber and vocal music are explored through lectures, readings, research, discussion, score studies, and intensive writing assignments. (Writing Intensive Course) PREREQS: MUS 123 [D-] and MUS 223 recommended.
