Course BA 590. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (3).

An in-depth examination of the strategic importance of understanding customers and their needs. This examination includes both theoretical and practical analyses of the rationale and limits of the marketing concept, marketing planning, segmentation and positioning, and the long-term value of customers. The course integrates concepts drawn from the fields of marketing, economics, marketing research (qualitative and quantitative), and buyer behavior. PREREQS: BA 390 and graduate standing.
