Course ATS 475. PLANETARY ATMOSPHERES (3).

Origin and evolution of planetary atmospheres; vertical structure of atmospheres; hazes and clouds; atmospheric motions and general circulation. Presentation of recent observations and current research issues, focusing on Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Titan. Emphasis on comparative aspects and simple models. PREREQS: ( (MTH 254 or MTH 254H) and PH 213)
