Physical basis of atmospheric phenomena on small, medium and large scales; introduction to atmospheric dynamics and thermodynamics; examination of atmospheric circulation systems; introduction to atmospheric physics and chemistry. Offered every term. PREREQS: College algebra and elementary functions. Honors College approval required.
