Introduction to basic features of Chinese culture from ancient times to the present. The late Imperial Period--15th century to early 20th century. Topics include history, philosophy, religion, literature and the arts, science and technology, political and economic systems, and everyday life. Taught in English. Open to all students. May not be offered every year. (NC) (Bacc Core Course)
