New Student Programs and Family Outreach serves as a campus leader in supporting the transition process for new students and their parents and family members, through educational programs and outreach. New Student Programs and Family Outreach coordinates new student orientation, START and CONNECT week, as well as OSU parent/family outreach through orientations, Web sites and e-newsletters. New Student Programs and Family Outreach also coordinates U-Engage, a two-credit class available to any new OSU student. Topics addressed in U-Engage include academic success, positive relationships with faculty, career and academic direction, and diversity.
